In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, over 80% of New Orleans firefighters lost their homes and possessions, yet they valiantly continued to serve their community: fighting fires, rescuing people, and providing help in thousands of ways to their neighbors.

Now the citizens of New Orleans can give back to these brave men and women by purchasing the New Orleans Fire Fighters Look Hot 2008 Calendar. The sales of this calendar will raise $50,000 to purchase new station house uniforms for every fire fighter in Orleans parish.

This calendar, the brainchild of local businesswoman Gayle Dellinger, is sponsored by the New Orleans Rotary Foundation and is an extension of ongoing fundraising for the New Orleans Fire Department. More...
